Katrin has worked on different projects in life and health insurance in the German market, particularly on the following:
- Further developing internal models; making code adjustments in RAFM, Prophet, and Java
- Developing automated data processing, calculation tools, and validation tools
- Working on migration testing
Before joining Milliman, Katrin worked about two years at Sparkassen Versicherung in inventory controlling. Her responsibility was further developing a Passive-Side internal model and making adjustments to the inventory in RiskAgilityFM. She also is involved in the development of automated reporting tools.
Previously, Katrin worked in the department of mathematics for private health insurance at Barmenia Krankenversicherung AG, programming a tool for auditing of rates using triggering factors.
Katrin has qualified technical experience with:

- VBA, Java and R
- SQL / SAS EG , Jira, and Confluence
